Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Modules

SDG Learning Modules is a training methodology developed by Smilemundo in collaboration with Tornos Abogados. It’s designed to support representatives of local and regional governments in understanding and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level.

The methodology combines theory with practice through a well-structured Trainer’s Guide, engaging visual materials, and participant handouts. It has been used in numerous international training sessions, helping public officials explore how global goals can translate into local action.

The modules are part of a broader initiative by UCLG and its partners, aiming to localize the 2030 Agenda through interactive, peer-to-peer learning. The format is adaptable and inclusive, making complex global concepts accessible and relevant for local contexts.
