SmileUrbo

SmileUrbo is an interactive simulation game that challenges players with real-world scenarios while developing essential soft skills like, problem-solving, and negotiation. Designed to strengthen teams and communities, it fosters collective well-being and sustainability.

In the game, eight players take on the roles of a Village Board, making critical decisions to improve a struggling community. Through both in-person and online components, SmileUrbo sparks meaningful discussions, encourages empathy, and exposes players to diverse viewpoints and the complexity of group dynamics.

This hands-on experience enhances players' ability to communicate effectively, navigate group decision-making, think creatively, and build consensus. By working with people from different backgrounds and skill sets, participants learn to collaborate toward a shared goal.

Inspired by a real-life case, SmileUrbo was designed from the ground up — covering everything from concept development and game mechanics to interface design and programming. Available in Spanish, Catalan, English, and Polish, it serves as a powerful team-building tool for businesses and an awareness-raising resource for educational institutions and nonprofits.
