Fake kNOw More

Learning methodology and game

Fake kNOw More is an educational initiative designed to help young people (ages 10–15) recognize and resist misinformation by understanding its emotional and psychological impact. The project equips educators with tools and training materials to address disinformation, fostering critical thinking and media literacy in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Through interactive activities, participants explore how emotions influence perception, decision-making, and the way information is processed. A key element of the project is the Octogram game, a simulated social network that demonstrates how algorithms, filters, and information bubbles shape what people see and believe online. By experiencing these mechanisms firsthand, students learn to assess digital content more critically and develop strategies to counter manipulation. FAKE kNOw MORE connects emotional awareness with media literacy, empowering young people to navigate misinformation and engage wi
