Totalitarianism and Democratization

The game Forbidden Words, can be played independently of the full lesson plan. In groups, students will be presented with a deck of cards about historical figures that will need to be presented to the other groups being careful not to use the forbidden words that define these persons. The goal of Forbidden Words is to guess as many historical figures as possible related to totalitarianism and democracy in Europe.

We hope that our tools will inspire curiosity and meaningful discussion, helping students discover new historical figures related to totalitarianism and democracy in Europe.
